Glad you could stop by and check it out!
The title of this site is a latin phrase which means "To the Glory of God". This is the purpose of all things – that they be ordered, or directed, to God and His Glory or excellence. While there are many Catholic, religious blogs that cover theology, news of the Pope and Church worldwide, I have a different purpose. I see in the world, both real and virtual, the need for each of us to reorder our lives back to God. We do this by offering our whole heart back to God as a sacrifice of one who desires to be in communion with the God who loves us – My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit; a contrite, humbled heart, O God, you will not scorn (Psalm 51:17). The Heart, in the spiritual writings of the saints, is the place where we each experience the union of body, mind, soul, and where God desires to speak to each of us in a personal, profound way.
This blog is dedicated to the person who desires to seek God in prayer. Think of it as a place to find spiritual formation. A place where faithful christians can come to ask questions about how to seek God in his or her day-to-day life.
God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, desires to dwell in you and order everything about you back to Him, that He may bring you close to Him and sustain you through the blessings and trials of life on this side of Heaven.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
